THE DRESS

A bespoke couture dress takes up to 6 months to complete and begins

with an introduction where we will get to know each other, learn more

about the plan and mood for the wedding and look through our book of

styles, fabrics, colors and embroideries. Before the appointment you can

either send us inspiration pictures you might have collected or bring

them with you to the appointment. The entire process involves several

fittings, and is made in close collaboration with Ida and the atelier.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

Once we have gathered a clear image of your wedding and personal style we

will design five different sketches based on your wishes and deliver them to

your home in a beautiful box accompanied by textile suggestions for each

design. As thus, you will in peace and quiet be able to take all the time you

need to go through each design, either by yourself or with the input of

friends and family. Alterations to the designs can of course be made and often

it is a combination of two or several designs that ends up being the final

creation. Shoes, accessories and even the ring billow can also be custom made

with the same or matching fabric as your dress.

COUTURE CREATION

At the next appointment we will finish the design process and your measurements will be taken.

At this stage we know what typ of fabric you will use and the atelier will

first create a paper pattern of the design with your measurements,

before cutting and sewing the toile in a similar textile to the once you have chosen.

Once the first toile is done you will come back for another fitting

where you will try the toile and see for yourself how the dress will fit and move.

If needed we make further adjustments before cutting the dress in the real fabric.

THE FINISHED DRESS

At the final appointment it is finally time to try your very own bespoke wedding dress.

We recommend bringing someone close with you for the moment which will be photographed

and sent to you in a box along with the final sketch, samples of the textiles and embroidery.

All which will be documented and index for you to remember and to share with future generations.

Final adjustments can still be made at this moment and the atelier remains at

your disposal until the wedding.
